10 Trinity Square is the former Port of London Authority building and one of the most treasured and iconic Grade II* listed buildings in London.
Standing just behind the Tower of London, it is set to be transformed into a world-class scheme with the UK’s first 7 star hotel, spa, restaurant and 41 luxury residences.
10 Trinity Square, London UK
One of the significant features is the inner courtyard space with distinctive twisted aerofoil fins which stand 14m tall. These fins were produced in-house by Fibreglass Solutions and were designed to “Create an optical illusion, giving shape to its geometric form whilst providing privacy for those hotel rooms overlooking the courtyard and lending a feeling of light and space”.
Our team completed tooling and prototypes before manufacturing the 37 fibreglass fins complete with internal structural reinforcement for optimum strengthening. Produced for Harley Facades Ltd.
This project serves as another great instance of our ability to actualize our client’s intentions. Below is the excellent feedback received from our client.
Client Testimonial
10 Trinity Square is the renovation of the original Port of London Authority building, into Luxury flats and a 7 star hotel. One of the key features is an inner courtyard with distinctive twisted aerofoil fins which stand 14m tall. As the cladding contractor for the façade of the building, the fins were included as part of our works. Through a glowing recommendation we found Tony and his team at Fibreglass Solutions. They worked round the clock to complete the tooling and prototypes, before embarking on a production output no one believed was achievable. Not only did they meet the programme, but the quality was excellent and the guys were friendly and a pleasure to work with.
